General Event Terms and Conditions
1. Registration and Payment
Eligibility: Registration is open to all individuals, 18 years or older, who have launched a business or are in the process of pursuing launching a business. By registering, you agree that all information provided during registration is accurate and truthful.
Payment: All registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Payment can be made via the methods indicated on the event website. Registration is not confirmed until payment is received.
Refund/Cancellation and Ticket Transfer Policy:
All ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be issued for any reason. However, if you are unable to attend the New Majority Summit, you may transfer your ticket to another person.
To transfer your ticket:
The transfer request must be made via email to programs@1863ventures.net at least 48 hours before the event.
Please include the name and contact information of the person to whom you are transferring the ticket.
Once the transfer is processed, the new attendee will receive a confirmation email.
Please note:
Transfers can only be made once per ticket. No transfers will be accepted after the 48-hour deadline.
The New Majority Summit reserves the right to refuse entry to any attendee whose name is not on the registration list or who has not complied with the transfer process.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms.
2. Event Participation
Access: Registered attendees will receive full access to the event, including all sessions, panels, breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and the closing networking reception as outlined in the event schedule. All participants must wear their official event badge provided at check-in, at all times during the event.
Conduct: All attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.
Media Release: By attending the event, you consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded. 1863 Ventures reserves the right to use any such media for promotional purposes.
3. Liability
Event Changes: 1863 Ventures reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, speakers, or venue as necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated to registered attendees as soon as possible via the email provided upon registration.
Force Majeure: In the event that the Summit is canceled due to circumstances beyond the control of 1863 Ventures, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or governmental regulations, a refund or alternative arrangements may be provided at the discretion of the organizers.
Personal Property: 1863 Ventures is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal property brought to the event by attendees.
4. Privacy
Data Collection: By registering for the event, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information by 1863 Ventures for the purpose of managing your participation in the event and related communications. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
Communications: By attending the event, you agree to receive communications from 1863 Ventures related to the event, including logistical information, updates, and post-event follow-ups.
5. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which the event is held. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state.
