Melissa L. Bradley is the visionary founder and Managing Partner of 1863 Ventures, a business development program that accelerates New Majority entrepreneurs from high potential to high growth. She is also the co-founder of New Majority Ventures, a media brand dedicated to empowering diverse entrepreneurs. Through her leadership, Melissa has helped countless minority-owned businesses achieve significant growth and sustainability.
In addition to her work with 1863 Ventures, Melissa serves as General Partner of the 1863 Venture Fund and holds advisory roles with several influential organizations, including Reign Ventures and the New Voices Foundation. Her extensive board experience includes positions at Ureeka, Eat the Change, and the Motley Fool Foundation, reflecting her commitment to fostering inclusive economic opportunities.
Melissa’s dedication to social entrepreneurship and impact investing has earned her numerous accolades, including being named to the Forbes 2022 50 Over 50 list for social entrepreneurship. As a professor at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, she teaches courses on impact investing and social entrepreneurship, shaping the next generation of business leaders.

Kim Roxie, Founder and CEO of LAMIK Beauty, has celebrated the beauty of all women since becoming an entrepreneur in the beauty industry in 2004. With her degree from Clark Atlanta University and executive leadership certification from the Tuck School of Business, Kim's background sets the foundation for her success. She also earned her esthetician license from Houston Community College, before becoming a top-brow and makeup artist in Houston.
Kim’s dedication to infusing inclusivity into the beauty industry spans decades. In 2020, LAMIK launched as an e-commerce brand with its bestselling hero product, the Revelation Brow Duo. This milestone secured a game-changing deal with Ulta Beauty and led to launches on Thirteen Lune’s site, JCPenney, and HSN while expanding the brand’s reach through platforms like Talk Shop Live.
While maintaining focus on her mission, Kim has received noteworthy recognition including joining the Tory Burch Fellowship, Houston Business Journal's "40 under 40" recognition, the 2021 Texas Women's Foundation Young Leaders Award, the 2023 Icon Award at the Power Networking Conference, and being honored as a Role Model title at the Greater Houston Womens Chamber of Commerce Women in the Fast Lane of STEAM Luncheon and Style
Show. In 2023, LAMIK received a Vendor Excellence Award nomination in the "Guest Excellence" category from HSN and was awarded the "Buy from a Black Women Beauty Company of the Year” Award.
Alongside her achievements, Kim places a high priority on giving back. In 2014, she became the chair of the African American Initiative for The Rose Foundation in Houston, raising over $500,000 to provide mammograms for uninsured black women.
Kim's impactful journey has garnered media attention on platforms such as BET, Ebony, Black Enterprise, ESSENCE, Byrdie, and Business Insider. A CBS interview with Gayle King on International Women's Day highlighted her game-changing contributions. Roxie is a sought-after keynote speaker for organizations like Girl Inc., United Way, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

Gina Woods, a serial entrepreneur, investor, and business advisor, brings a wealth of experience cultivating successful beauty brands with a focus on community reinvestment.She is the Co-Founder/Owner of Donna’s Recipe with Tabitha Brown, a renowned vegan beauty brand known for its premium ingredients and commitment to enhancing the hair and beauty care experience. Woods has introduced innovative concepts like the Allure award-winning Sweet Potato Pie Collection. Woods' business, Donna’s Recipe, is available in over a thousand Target stores and all Ulta Beauty locations nationwide and remains 100% self-funded. In her capacity as a business mentor, she leads a business mastermind program empowering women to establish and expand their enterprises, contributing to the growth of numerous multi-million dollar ventures. Additionally, Woods established the LA Kids Entrepreneur Camp, a hands-on educational platform enabling young individuals to engage with experienced entrepreneurs and delve into the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Preston is the CEO|Founder of DivInc, which is the first tech startup ecosystem builder in Texas exclusively for underrepresented tech entrepreneurs. Founded in 2016, DivInc’s mission is to generate social and economic equity through entrepreneurship, with a long term vision to reduce the racial wealth gap in the United States. Through its pre-seed/seed stage accelerator program DivInc has helped launch or grow over 120 startup companies across the US. Each DivInc cohort generates $50-$100M in business valuations within 12 months. A non-profit headquartered in Austin,TX, DivInc expanded into the Houston market in 2021 and looks to continue to scale its impact globally.A former 20-year veteran at Dell, he served in executive
leadership roles in Enterprise IT Sales and Consulting where he led teams responsible for driving $250M+ in revenues. He also served as the Managing Director for the Dell Global Center for Entrepreneurship, where he oversaw a $100M Dell Credit Fund for small businesses and helped expand the center’s initiatives worldwide.Upon an early retirement from Dell in 2014, he was appointed for a two year assignment to serve as the Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at the Herb Kelleher Center for Entrepreneurship in the prestigious McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas- Austin.
Preston firmly believes that the future prosperity of our nation is directly tied to our ability to empower people of color and women through entrepreneurship and innovation. A proud native New Yorker, Preston earned his Bachelor’s of Science and Engineering degree from The Howard University, in Washington, DC. Living in Austin since 1997 with the pride and joy of his life, his family, wonderful wife Kim and their four children, Sydney(24), Cori (21), Presli (18) and Preston, III (15).

Greg Campbell is President & CEO of Rainmaker, Inc. (www.rainmaker-inc.com), a strategic investment and advisory firm. He is also Managing Partner of Prosalus Capital Partners, a healthcare-focused venture capital firm (www.prosaluscaptial.com). Greg is a long-time entrepreneur, investor, and real estate developer, with a focus on building and investing in businesses that are disruptive, scalable, and noble in their purpose.
He has funded, operated, and advised ventures across a broad array of industries in the United States, Latin America, and West Africa. As a partner with Best Associates, a private merchant banking firm, Mr. Campbell originated and closed transactions creating the Whitney International University System (renamed Ilumno) in South America, serving 300,000 students in multiple degree programs. He was also associated with the formation of the New England College of Business and Finance, American College of Education, Academic Partnerships, and Medisend College of Biomedical Engineering.
Greg was a co-founder and Managing Partner of the North Texas Opportunity Fund, a private equity firm that invested institutional money in minority and women-led middle-market companies. Mr. Campbell was the founder and CEO of HBCUsOnLine.com, an educational technology business. He founded and was managing partner of Solomon Partners, an affordable home developer.
Mr. Campbell currently serves on the boards of several early-stage companies including Tuleva Inc., Engaged Media Studios and Curis Functional Health. An avid supporter of the community, Mr. Campbell also serves as a Board member of the Methodist Health System (Emeritus), the Communities Foundation of Texas, Greater Harlem Chamber Of Commerce and Convergence Center for Policy Resolution.
Previously, he has served on the boards of the Angel Capital Association, Real Estate Council and the Metroplex Advisory Board for JPMorgan Chase. He was a principal author of The Dallas Plan, a strategic platform for the city’s growth and development. He regularly teaches entrepreneurial and investment workshops at Rice University.
Mr. Campbell's corporate career spanned management positions with Pepsi-Cola, Frito-Lay, PepsiCo, and CPC International. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
